Creativity

What does being creative mean to you? Or what does creativity look like to you?

bubba,
to me creativity means using the gifts and talents God has given you. Whether in your job, personal or fun. Blog, journal, worship, praising God, gifts you give to your mom, ways you bless your mom, or serving your mom, or WAYS YOU TELL YOUR MOM HOW MUCH YOU LOVE AND/OR APPRECIATE HER!

Creativity to me looks like Bob Saget in a black flecked blazer with the collar up and his sleeves rolled. He has an aqua blue shirt with a slender black tie on. He's got that smile on his face that screams, "I'm the funniest man on the planet and you all know it...you're welcome"

creativity to me is taking a multitude of things, could be anything, tones, colours, shapes and forms, and ideas and rearranging them in a new order or pattern and inserting previously unrealted forms "noice" into the patterm

It is ability to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems that are worth solving. It is the ability to create knowledge.

this might sound silly, but to me it means 'creating'. that can look like original writing, making music, making some form of visual art, cooking, etc... i usually think of expression of some sort, so i'd throw fashion in there, too. then there's just 'thinking outside the box,' coming up with new solutions and stuff like that. so an artist can be creative, a musician can be creative, a playwright or poet can be creative, a web designer can be creative, a nanny or mom (or dad :) can be creative in coming up with new ways to keep kids happy and safe, a doctor or nurse can be creative in coming up new ways to treat patients... we were designed in the image of a creative God, so we were meant to be creative, too. it just comes out in different ways for different people...

great question. and i liked the monkey pic. :)

I want to know what people think...
I have to write a paper about it. :)

cheesy quote...

"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep."
