I thought this time it would be different...

So I thought that since I started this pregnancy so great that this pregnancy would be completely different than Caidan but I was wrong oh so wrong!

The six week hit and I was sick and it hasn't stopped since. This time around is 10x worse than with Caidan. Then to top it off at 6 weeks I had some spotting. It was the most scariest thing in the world. I didn't know what to do... I hadn't seen my doc yet and wouldn't have for one more week. I called a few people and the advised me to call my doc so I paged him (I really really love my doc!) He called back and said that he wanted to see my the next day (Monday) and to just rest. I went in the next day and the did the whole first exam (you women know) and said that there was some bleeding blah blah blah. Also he put me on some medicine for being sick (which everything that I read about it said that it was great and worked... yeah didn't work for me.) He also said that he wanted me to go for an ultrasound next week.

This past Tuesday we went for our first ultrasound. I saw something different in the ultrasound and asked what that was. She said it was a bleed and that the doc would explain it. At that time I was a little worried. Why couldn't she just tell me??? Well after waiting a little the doc came in and told us that that "bleed" was a vanishing twin (YES A TWIN!) but didn't make it. He assured us that it was common (1 out 8 women) and that I should be okay but no heavy lifting and someother things for two weeks and he wanted to repeat the ultrasound in two weeks.

So here I sit very very sick and just waiting for this time to past. It been a hard two weeks. I haven't been able to enjoy Caidan like I want. He doesn't get much of my attention if any right now. But I have to say that he really is the best baby in the world.

So please keep us all in your prayers as we go through this rough stage... again. And pray for my husband because he has taken on a lot since I have gotten sick and he is the most amazing man ever!!!!
